Tiniest Qur’an Transcribed
Iranian
artist Raein Akbar Khanzadeh has written the smallest copy of the Holy Qur’an
which is 94 times smaller than the one recorded in the Guinness World Book of
Records.
According to Iran Daily’s Davood Baqeri, the copy recorded in the Guinness book
was written by a Pakistani physicist Saeed Bibani.
Unlike Bibani, the Iranian artist has done the hand written inscription with
naked eyes.
Khanzadeh has transcribed the Qur’an in two pages each measuring 7 x 5 cm.
It has been adorned with 9526 precious stones, including ruby, emerald and
pearl.
The Qur’an, weighing 320 Carats, was recently put on display at the 2008 Sharjah
World Book Fair in the UAE.
His extraordinary power of vision enables him to inscribe Qur’anic verses on
grains of sugar or strands of hair, which are not discernible to the naked eye.
Twenty-Six Arab and 213 non-Arab nations participated in the fair which wrapped
up on November 7.
